Fahri Hamzah Wants To Do This According To Pension Of The House Of Representatives (DPR)
Pojok Pos. Deputy Speaker of the House Fahri Hamzah has made a choice after no longer hanging out at Senayan as the people's representative. Fahri wants to build a modern and independent parliament through the press.
"If I retire later, I will be a candidate for the press room. We make a small news office, or whatever it's called," Fahri said in his remarks at the Parliament Gathering with Parliamentary Coordinator at Wisma Griya Sabha DPR, Cisarua, Bogor on Friday (23 / 11).
In the election next year Fahri is no longer advanced as a candidate for DPR. Even though the intention to build a press company seemed to be joking, Fahri's sincerity in building a better future for Indonesia's democracy had been imprinted in him.
According to him, only the press can be close to power and can oversee the power independently.
"This is because of the institution of democracy and the failure of the welfare of our people because the DPR is not independent. And when I retire later, it will not disappear from my attention," he concluded.
